ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE ??? Do you know what you are supporting? How about the SHIT BUCKET challenge instead ??? ;) The ALS ice bucket challenge is a perfect example of how easily manipulated we all are by celebrity, trends, peer pressure and hype. Only 27% of the money donated actually goes to researching how to cure ALS and that 27% is used for extremely cruel animal testing which has failed to transfer its findings to humans. Dont get me wrong im not trying to offend people, giving to charity is a great and compassionate idea. But if you want to put a bucket of ice or even shit on your head to spread awareness on an issue or raise money for a charity then maybe worth doing some research into that charity and choose one that actually donates the money to the cause and in a humane way. The ALS Ice buckett challenge basically funds big pharma and the pockets of its CEOs. Corporations masquerading as charities.
