ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE Now, this is what the challenge should be all about. I dont want my friends to think that I am unfeeling to this debilitating disease. Actually, quite the opposite. I worked in healthcare for twenty two years. And in that time, I have taken care of people stricken by this condition. What I have been trying to convey for the last week is this.... Raise money for a cause because you want to do your part to assist with research and helping those in need. We dont need a video of you for narcissistic reasons. I just feel that the true meaning in raising money for this cause got lost in what is called Pop Culture. If you genuinely took the challenge to help those in need, then God bless you. If you did it for the attention, then you are being disrespectful to all people living with debilitating illnesses throughout the world.
