ICT Officer –Two Posts at Tanzania Recruit Category ICT Industry Consulting Location Dar Es Salaam (region), Tanzania Job description Position Description: The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MoHSW) in collaboration with Centre for Disease Control end Prevention have established the National Health Laboratory Quality Assurance and training Centre (NHLQATC). The main function of the Centre is to provide Leadership in HIV / AIDS related laboratory tasks to support the ongoing HIV / AIDS Care and Treatment and specifically in technical assistance, so as to ensure highly functional and operational health laboratory testing systems. The specific functions include: Reference laboratory testing in all disciplines HIV Reference Laboratory and Drug resistance Tests Quality Assurance and Laboratory services to support Health care interventions including HIV / AIDS care and treatment Laboratory Training on Quality systems, refresher and formal training programmes Epidemic prone disease surveillance Evaluation and validation of new and existing technologies The National Institute for Medical Research has been assigned by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare to look for well trained, competent and self motivated personnel to fill the following vacancies: Responsible to:The Laboratory Manager - NHLQATC Gender Indiferente Candidate description Qualifications and Experience: Holder of Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or Full computer Technician Certificate from a recognized institution.
