ICYMI: The September LPSC meeting is Wednesday the 18th. As you know, I have been vocal about my concerns with the Energy Efficiency rules that were passed in August. On the agenda in September, I am requesting the LPSC staff put forth a plan to provide accountability and audits for the money that is given to third parties administrators in conjunction with this plan. I will also be asking for the costs charged to you, the consumer, for The Energy Efficiency program and the Renewable Energy program be specific line items on your bill. Therefore, you will be able to see exactly what you are paying to support these programs. If you feel strongly about accountability, like I do, I encourage you to come to the meeting or let the other Commissioners know how you feel about these agenda items.
