ICYMI – two recent articles exemplify my nonpartisan leadership as Attorney General -- the same commitment to equal protection under the law I will bring to the Secretary of States Office. Despite Tom Hornes bizarre and easily disproven claims to the contrary, Sundays Fact Check in The Arizona Republic makes it crystal clear that as Attorney General I stepped up to investigate and prosecute the Colorado City polygamists including their leader, Warren Jeffs. I am proud of what we were able to accomplish in my eight years as Attorney General to reestablish the rule of law in that remote part of Arizona and protect women and children there.
