ICast Preview #7: Prototype Realis Swimbait 200W The Realis Swimbait 200W soon to arrive. This DUO-segmented S-glide bait will turn heads. Bringing revolution to the lure-making process, the designing method known as “Prometheus Project” will not be based on targeting certain fish, but rather at the swimming action. The most advanced swim-action known in swimbaiting is slalom effect. It has been coined Flare, Glide, S-stroke, S-curve. What is important is to know, the action disburses the lures swim angle side- to- side verses a linear travel. This “flare” or wide-swing motion keeps the lure in the strike window longer, while mimicking forage trying to escape. Big bass are known to“press”and “corral” their prey increasing escape behavior. The Realis will also go through a fusion painting process in which advanced printing and hands painting are incorporated.
