IDAHO ~ 1hour&37 mins north of Twin Falls Didnt make it very far today, but thats exactly what this journey is ~ A journey of experiences, moments, feelings, energies. Where and when I want to stop. When something pulls me in, I let it. Because I can. Theres something to be said for having no plan, no time limitations, no have to bes. The most freeing feeling ever. I left Twin Falls around 8:00am and travelled through some of the most beautiful country Ive ever laid eyes on. Straight aways with majestic mountains in front of me, seemed like Id never actually touch them, they seemed too perfect. Too beautiful to be real. I headed north. I do have a destination up there but was feeling...conflicted, a little unorganized as to how to best travel there. How best see and experience the most without missing anything. In that moment, I decided to pull a card from Osho, a magical, highly soulful master of energy and thought and what it read was, well, nothing but exactly what I needed. It read if you determine your course with speed or force, you miss the way of the law. In that very moment, I let go. I picked the path I had been most set on and gave myself the ability to just be, to just go and see where the road would lead me and if that road lead me farther out than I had wanted, well, that would be where I was supposed to be. And THAT is exactly how my day went. I found myself turning around to capture moments as I did right before Twin Falls. The visuals and energy is so different than where I live. So many little side roads. So many little towns with south history and character. Its literally an all-you-can-eat LIFE journey. So many signs along the way that confirmed the journey Ive chosen. I stopped in Bellvue, Hailey and finally ended up not being able to leave the town of Ketchum. Bigger than some of the smaller towns Ive passed but smaller than any town Im accustomed to on a daily basis. I decide to walk around and see what it was all about. No sooner had I gotten out of my RV (even though everyone calls her a van) did I walk by a sign that read unique rocks! From 1-6pm come pick your Geode and crack it open. How could I resist! I am incredibly drawn to minerals, stones and precious rocks. For the next hour, I learned more about Geodes than I ever imagined from the owners, the husband, Vint I literally wants to stuff in my purse, he is a historian of sorts of the entire USA. My path has changed its form because of him. I also met an incredible family, parents and a son who had a soul of an old angel. The energy in that shop was beautiful. The rest of the day, I wandered. Into the mountains. Up prairies. Wont and paid tribute to one of the greats (Hemingway) and left a little message from another great one that walked tua earth. :) And finally...I ended at the edge of a stream at sunset. 81 miles of more experiences than I could have imagined. This area, Sun Valley, is truly special. I met more people today thats have been coming here for years and years as their place of peace and relax. I get it. I really do.
