IE …… IS (MIT) MADE IN TAIWAN! Germans go to the polls today and the big debate on TV was how harmful is a powerful Germany for Europe. The Union has always lived in the shadows of the perceived and potential threat of The Grand Deutche – The two Germanies united, Austria is a close cousin, Swiss Germans certainly dominate in Helvetia, the Nordic countries have far more magnetic pull towards Germany than the rest of the continent. Personally, I think Germany is the only country in the Euro zone area that would have been better off with the Deutche Mark, working on its own area of German influence. In sheer economic terms, excluding social, political and happiness indices, it is the only country that has been slowed down, pulled back for the sake of better collective existence. As the Frenchies would say Mrs. Angela Merkel, BON CHANCE! Cheers to her third tenure as Chancellor and a good world leader!
