But others feel that more intelligent children should be taught separately. Discuss both views and give your opinion. Mixing of students with different cognitive abilities to educate them is a common practice which is spanned across all countries in recent days. However, some assert that the high brows should be taught separately. As it is a contentious topic, this essay is to an attempt to discuss both sides of the issue before drawing well-trodden conclusion. Considering the arguments, substituting the former view, this would help to impact a sense of co-operation and inter-activeness among children of different reasoning power in their formative period. Delving deep, the relationship between students gradually built up this leading to the formation of a profound pluralistic society or pilot study conducted in India has shown that academical standards of weak students have improved when mined with bright students is a case in point. Thus, it is able to fathom to the idea of mixing together of pupils of different levels of intelligence is a valid one. Considering the vitality of the latter proposition, it is better to congregate children of higher intelligence together as they will be more focused towards their study and can make furtherance in their academics whereas mixing them with weaker students will spoil the broth and there are greater chances of being futile in aiming pinnacle of success. To exemplify this, many training institutes of professional education in India select highly promising students, so as to accomplish a high winning note is an epitome of segregating the pupil of high acumen. Hence this adds credence to the immediate view mentioned. To recapitulate, there are viable points to underpin both the arguments discussed above. Nonetheless, I am inclined to the view that an amalgam of young buds in different range of intelligence would help them to gird up the loins eventually leading to formation of egalitarian society.
