IF ANYONE COULD HELP, PLEASE PRIVATELY E-MAIL ME! Good Morning Fellow Rescuers! I am writing with a desperate plea for help. Another situation with 45+ cats & kittens (ages 2-12 weeks) in Pottstown, PA. Same story as others...someone started feeding ferals and didnt know where to turn for help...now they have a huge problem. Their home backs up to woods, so they think approx. 45 cats & kittens (at least 3 know litters of kittens...likely more...UGH). They care deeply about the cats and really need our help. Please....if everyone can help in a small way, this will be much easier with a lot of us doing a little. Back in January...amazingly before my eyes, rescues stepped in to help in Elverson with 45+ cats. I was blown away by all of you that stepped in...will never forget your generosity and team work...never forgotten. The good news is that Forgotten Cats is starting on the trapping today, Sunday, to start TNR. It will be $30/cat for the spay/neuter & vaccines, so we have to start raising the funds ASAP. We are financially depleted at the moment with 2 dogs that had serious surgeries in our rescue, so so we definitely need to find a way to raise the money. We also need to find rescues to commit to kittens ASAP...most are friendly...any older ones that are not can be TNRd. Like all of you...we too are overflowing with cats & kittens...not sure where I will even put any and adoptions are slow. We are small...3 of us that foster kittens...mostly a dog rescue. However, I will not ask anyone to do anything I am not willing to do myself. We will commit to a litter of kittens. There could be as many as 30 kittens...we cannot take them all and I cannot even imagine they going back out with how cold the night have been. Please...can everyone take a few so one rescue is not heavily burdened and depleted. Here is what I need commitments for ASAP, as trapping starts today and I need places for the kittens immediately: 1) Kittens: Please reply with how many you can squeeze in. We will figure out how to get to you. 2) Bottle Feeders: Might be need since it is so cold...likely would not survive outside 3) Sponsors for the TNR cost at $30/cat PLEASE CROSSPOST!! We need any & all help we can get!! Thank you all for any help you can offer. I know we all have many other pleas for help, so that is why I was thinking if each can do a little we wont burden one rescue alone.
