IF I WERE THE MINISTER OF SPORT AND OR THE JUNIOR MINISTER: Bearing the sensitivity of the VCB Case and the Protocol surrounding it....I would have come out from day one and make a statement maybe sounding like this: "My fellow Jamaicans, there is a buzz in the air that one of our most decorated Female Athletes is facing some difficult moments in her career at this moment, soon there will be more details available to the public but right now we are not certain the extent of the allegation but they are only allegations. As we are concerned and saddened by this new development, in our discussions let us be respectful, considerate and mindful of the fact that we do not have the facts and moreso, this Athlete is a Jamaican who has made us proud times and times again, one who has brought this Nation together on many occasions. While we await the findings, let us continue to love and support all our Athletes past and present and keep them all in our prayers.....God bless our Athletes, God Bless Jamaica, Land we love!!
