IF ONLY Two little words that pack a punch. They can be interpreted as wistful, sorrowful, regretful---or they can be inspirational, hopeful, optimistic. It is up to you. If you choose to dwell on the past, your if onlys will bring you no comfort. You will presume to know how much better things might be, if only. We cannot change the past, nor can we know with any certainty that our lives would have been happier. Things would be different, yes, but better? Maybe not. Put the past firmly behind you, and use your positive if onlys to create a better future. IF ONLY we put our minds to moving forward with confidence, with our dreams intact, with hope in our hearts and a firm belief in our ability to reach for the stars----we will be fine!
