IT SPEAKS; Speaks to the defense of the protesters and the understanding of their innate reaction as a result of a complicit system of privilege and racist construct of which they felt isolated and censored from. Speaks to the defense of uncensoring Baileys work and the understanding of his intent to accept the unjust actions of his own ancestors and to acknowledge (Some may say an intimate prayer for) the globally forgotten African ancestors through a visceral and challenging experience. UNDERSTANDING (Overstanding) BEFORE ACTION: This televised example demonstrates; 》This is the conversation we could of been having. 》This is the level of articulation that needs to be obtained. 》This is the TRUTH we should be nationally and globally been sharing. But, we have some way to go and rough times ahead if we do not discern an understanding of the historic and current multiplexed realities around this subject. More so, both parties (black and white), all members of society, will preserve an insidious ignorance if they do not first pause accusations of the oppostion and reflect on their own contribution to the carnal wreckage currently at hand. Only then will we have a chance to truly express freely for the sack of empowerment and progress without censorship of any kind because we would have cultivated our own freedom collectively.
