IF YOU ARE RACIST> My very first best friend ever was a girl named Vanessa. She and I were very different. Different colors and different culture. We still made memories that Ill carry with me forever. I remember when (crazily) the only kind of music I would listen to when I was younger was country. Like achy breaky heart country, and she only listened to rap. Which is hilarious to me now, (bc I listen to and love so many different genres now)... I couldnt stand it... We would change the FM stereo every other song, we took turns getting up from playing and going across the room to change the station (like roll the button to get a good station in, no damn pandora) .. but we switched. One rap, one country, the entire time we played. I let her play with my blue hair which was a white cloth doll with blue yarn for hair and she let me play with her Kenyan doll. People are so ridiculous. I just want my daughter to grow up with a good heart and to inherit a world that isnt like this... I dont feel that its too much to ask. IT ISNT THAT HARD OF A GOAL. We are destroying ourselves. Even if you arent directly involved. These uninformed trash stories youre sharing on facebook make you liable as well. Sad to know it will never happen. All I can do is my part to make sure my baby girl knows that every life is important. White, black, Hispanic, dog, cat, horse, hell.. elephant... Makes me think twice about planning to have another child at some point in the future. As I lay down tonight, Im thinking.. what kind of heartbreak is my namuH going to have to go through? Her children (my grandbabies). Her grandchildren? sad sad
