IF YOU have not started making your way to the referendum hightable, you will be in for a shock. You will only have yourselves to blame, when we start raking in the dollar. For those who have been asking me if there can be more than one question in a referendum, yes there can be. In fact I see 10 possible ones in this ansd the more the better. Standby for the money bit. According to the law, where a referendum question requires a YES or NO answer (I wonder which other answer there can be), persons intending to campaign for or against it shall form such national and constituency committees as are necessary. That means if we have only one question, we could have two national committees (YES and NO) and 580 constituency committees (two in each constituency for YES and NO). If there are more than one question, you form committees for each question. Taking for example our 10 questions, we should have about 20 national committees (YES and NO for each question) and about 2900 committees in all the constituencies. You could be voting NO to three questions and YES to the other seven questions. I could be voting YES to four different questions and NO to six. Knowing Kenya, the confusion would be like that of First Year students. For me, I will certainly be in the Othaya committee that will deal with the question on Wildlife.
