IGUIT membership currently stands at 4,167 members (with a dozen more waiting in the wings for approval). This group has been carefully nurtured since its inception. Its an open group that requires membership approval to reduce the amount of spammers and hackers intent on ruining groups like this. I spend countless hours every day monitoring the group posts, responding to private messages, adding people and attempting to make it a welcome online place to connect with other like-minded people. I always avoid *this* kind of post because I dont want anyone to think for a minute that this Group isnt important to me, or that its anything other than a labor of love, because it is definitely that. Im not looking for sympathy. BUT...When those intent on throwing politics in the mix chime in, and then bash me and trash talk the policy here, it makes me wonder if its worth??? All Im asking is that when you feel yourself starting to bang out a post that you KNOW IN YOUR HEART is going to start a political discussion and reaction going, please dont. Please...dont.
