IGWE AND JOURNALISM!! On that very hot afternoon,I was scouting for the latest and hottest gists and news of the day as dis yrs promotion in our Radio Station,popularly known to be the best,East of the Niger,is completely dependent on d quality of news that one bags to d news room over a period of time.Bearing this in mind,I scavenge for news d way a vulture does to dead animals found anywhere at all. In my journalistic tendency,I was as anxious as a monkey to hit the road in search of hot gists on the street as if matters of journalism were like the GULDER ULTIMATE SEARCH. In less than 30 minutes into my golden quest, I stumbled upon a group of people standing around an accident scene.Some with mouth agape.Some standing akimbo. I was still wondering what was going on when I overheard one of the people exclaiming ‘chai, na so this driver just kill am?’. Getting excited about the matter, I wanted to be the first to give breaking news of this tragic event. However, I could not get through as the crowd refused to make way for me. As a sharp guy,I thought about a sharp plan to gain access into the scene proper for a rich reportage. Immediately, I cleared my throat and screamed on top of my voice: “LEMME PASS!,LEMME PASS!! THE VICTIM IS MY FATHER plz!!!.” To my greatest astonishment, my plan worked perfectly as the horrified and surprised crowd suddenly parted ways in shock for me. Happily #Igwe_De_MC struggled to the middle of the crowd in excitement to take pictures, only for me to find a “DEAD GOAT”!!! #heheheh... Plz if U were me,what would U do?? Although,I later woke up from sleep!! @igwedemc...Your Fun,My Pleasure!!
