One of the earliest members of the Black Redeco Clan to form an allegiance with the RoCons, Sky-Wind signed up just to be granted the ability of flight, and to have the power and authority to bully his supposed inferiors and get away with it, while hiding behind a badge of authority. His ability to teleport is one of the most envied abilities in the whole of the war effort, but this too is an ability that Sky-Wind squanders, using it out of laziness and as an aid to practical jokes rather than tactically. Star-Burst initially had high hopes that Sky-Wind would one day inherit the role of Air Commander, should Star-Burst ascend to the throne of leadership, however, Star-Burst has since realised that Sky-Wind would probably need a full reformatting to live up to his true potential.
