IH is before its time when it comes to people wearing hard hats while working with horses on the ground. H&H have just come out with article on this subject. I recently heard about a huntsman suing his employer as they didnt ensure his hat fitted correctly. Now Im just concerned about the odd occasion we lend someone a hat ... in 15 years the only accident weve had is someones mother coming to pick her up and tripping on Ians decking - but supposing something happened to someone in a borrowed hat?! Do we have to get people to agree to LENDING HATS DISCLAIMER - PLEASE BE AWARE PARTICIPANTS ARE ASKED TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN SAFETY WEAR. IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO DO SO THEN THESE HATS ARE LENT WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT THEY PROVIDE LIMITED PROTECTION AND THE PARTICIPANT UNDERSTANDS THAT WHILE ALL REASONABLE CARE WILL BE TAKEN BEING AROUND HORSES HAS AT TIMES UNAVOIDABLE RISKS ?
