IHRC CHIEF ADDRESSED THE INTERFAITH CONFERENCE IN BEIRUT TO SHOW SOLIDARITY WITH THE KIDNAPPED CHRISTINE PERSISTS IN SYRIA……..INTERNATIONAL SECRETARIAT PRESS NOTE: The IHRC Chief Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Shahid Amin khan has participated in the conference for solidarity with Christians Fathers, which are hostage by the terrorist group in Syria, This Conference was hosted by the Interfaith Dialogue Lebanon. A large number of clerics from all sects and religions and political and diplomats participated in the conference to show the unanimous solidarity with the hostages. In his address to the conference, IHRC Chief Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Shahid Amin Khan denounce the kidnappings and terrorism in Syria. IHRC Chief appreciated the role played by Ambassador Ali Aqil Khalil and specially the role of the General Abbas Ibrahim and Ambassador Rehab Biter and their efforts for the freedom of 13 Lebanese and 8 Christians Nuns from the kidnappers. IHRC will never give up humanity in the hands of evils and terrorists and will ensure the release of other hostages in the future, said IHRC Chief. As well as, Ambassador Ali Akil Khalil talked in the conference about his visit to Qatar along with the released hostages and Ambassador Rehab Biter efforts and meeting with HH. Amir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar, who promised to pursue this case until the end and support the IHRC activates for the humanity, peace and for the respect of human rights. During the Conference, Diplomatic Representative/ Counselor of the Embassy of Sudan Dr. Tigani M. Ibraheem met with the IHRC Chief and give the special message of the President Omar Al Bashir to visit Sudan as soon as possible. Mr. Fathi Abou Al Ardat, Secretary of the PLO in Lebanon, President of the Interfaith Dialogues Council Sheikh Hussein A. Shehade and President of the Syriac League in Lebanon Mr. Habib E. Ephrem also met with the IHRC Chief during the conference and appreciate the work of IHRC for the people of world and peace in the Middle East.
