II Thessalonians 2:1-4 NKJV Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Matthew 7:15 KJV Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Matthew 24:4 KJV And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. Mark 13:6 KJV For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Luke 21:8 KJV And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. Revelation 19:20 KJV And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
