IIT GATE 2015: List of Papers and Paper Code Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is held for testing the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science. The exam will be conducted in the months of January and February, next year. The last date for registrations for GATE 2015 has been extended to October 14. Basic features of the exam:- Examinations for all the 22 papers will be conducted by an Online Computer Based Test (CBT). The online examination paper will have some questions, the numerical answers for the same must be keyed in by the candidate using the virtual keypad. All the remaining questions would be in multiple choice question format; Biometric information (Photograph and Fingerprints) for randomly selected candidates may be captured before the start of the examination; GATE 2015 examinations will be held during forenoon and afternoon sessions on alternate weekends (Saturday and Sunday) between January 31, 2015 and February 14, 2015. Examination for some of the papers in GATE 2015 will be held in multiple sessions; For GATE 2015 the entire process of filling up of application form, uploading of certificates/ documents, etc., will be online and the candidates should not send any hard copy of their application form/documents, etc., to any of the IIT/IISc zonal GATE office; The payment of application fees can be done online through different modes like net banking, debit/ credit card, e-challan, etc.; The admit cards for GATE 2015 would be available through the online process only. The admit cards will be available on the official website. No admit cards will be dispatched separately; GATE 2015 score is valid for a period of three years from the date of announcement of the results. The exam is conducted by by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India. How to apply: Candidates should first register by providing a valid email address, mobile number and a GOAPS password. Upon registration, an email and SMS containing your GOAPS Enrolment ID will be sent to you. You need to remember this along with the GOAPS password for all GATE 2015 related communications/website operations. Information required for form filling: Personal information (name, date of birth, your personal mobile number, parents name, parents mobile number etc.) Address for Communication (including PIN code) Eligibility degree details (college address, PIN code of college) GATE paper, choice of GATE Examination Cities High quality image of your photograph conforming to the requirements specified Good quality image of your signature conforming to the requirements specified Scanned copy of Degree Certificate or Certificate from Principal/HODs in pdf format only Scanned copy of Category/PwD Certificate in pdf format only (if applicable) Details of a valid ID Proof Netbanking login and password to make the application fee payment via online net banking mode Application fee: The candidates have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 1500 (Rs 750 for female/ SC/ ST/ PwD candidates).
