IM DONE IM DONE I FREAKING DID IT WOOHOO...HAPPY DANCE OH YEAH!!! It took 6 years, too many credit hours, and a lot of sacrificing for me, my kids and everyone else who had to deal with it, but today I know it was worth all of it!!! It took a long time to realize I needed to step up and be the person I should be...I went from being a punk teenager, pregnant at 18, to someone my kids can look up to. My kids deserved more and needed an example (saying both their fathers were/are awful examples is an understatement ) it was up to me to do the right thing and be the mom and example they deserve (so thanks to my exs for the push). I have never been proud of anything I have ever done except for my kids, who are amazing (hopefully I had a little to do with that), I am proud of myself today for not letting anything or anyone stop me from accomplishing this goal!!! It has been a long, hard and bumpy road, but I now know I can achieve any goal because this was for sure the hardest/longest goal on my list :) I want to thank all my FB friends for all the support and encouragement over the last 6 years!! Special thanks to Karen Siebanoller, Kim Ezerski Pantalena, Araceli Cervantes-Shaklee, Kelly Ludes Smentek, Denise M. Soderlund, Jennifer Reich Martin, Trisha Jones Warkentien,Nicole Santos-Morbitzer, Cassandra Marie, and Erica Bulanda McMaster, who sometimes had more faith in me than I did and who could always put a smile on my face no matter how bad the day was!! Very special thanks to Michele Alcott who has been there for me since I started GSU, is the best partner EVER, and has become a great friend and motivator in the last 7 months...girl you are awesome and Im so happy we became friends and teammates, you made school so much better than it could have been. Thanks for listening to my crazy problems and for all the advice, cant wait to celebrate!!! Special thanks to Cecelia Paulis and Sara Wolf Kelly for cheering me on and for always making my Fridays better!!! Pete Fiocchi you made these last 2 years so much easier in school, you have supported and helped me this whole time and you will never know how much I appreciate that! You put up with the crazy school/ homework schedule and were always there for me!! I love you!! And finally the 7 people I need to thank the most; my kids who have been through so much on this journey with me, they always understood when I had to go to school and do homework and were always excited for me when I finished a semester!! Josh has had it the hardest because until I was 30 I wasnt a great example. Even though I tried to be the best mom ever, I could have started being a good example for him way earlier!! I have made many mistakes in my life but I can honestly say I have learned from them, and Im not perfect but I have come a long way from where I was 6 years ago...Aunt Fran / Francyne Anzer you have been a life saver! Thank you so much for providing my kids with the experiences I couldnt! You are an amazing person and the best aunt my kids and I could ever ask for! Adriana Saldivar Zager I cant say enough how grateful I am that you made me see that I could do better than beig a paper lady lol. I wouldnt be where I am today if it wasnt for you pushing me to be better! I love you girly and I will never forget how much of this degree I owe to you!! Finally I want to thank my mom and dad. I dont know how I got so lucky to have them as parents. No matter what stupid mistakes or choices I have ever made they have been there for me and helped me put the pieces back together. They have always supported my decisions and they have always been my rock, there is no way I could have done any of the things I have done if it wasnt for them!! Mom I know you are watching over me from heaven and MOM I FINALLY DID IT!!! I love you, dad and kids more than anything in the world and I am who I am today because of all of you!! Thats it before I cry...PARTY TIME EVERYONE!!!
