IM STILL STANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ive learned that after I lost my uncle in 2012, then two weeks later losing an aunt, Ive learned. The following week losing another aunt, Ive learned. After loosing my Ge-Ge in January 2014, Ive learned. One month later watching another aunt get sick one week and die the next, Ive Learned. After watching my granny suffer for about two years and then die, Ive learned. It seems as if DEATH was all around me but IVE LEARNED that TRIALS come to make you STRONG! OH GOD! The more the enemy afflicted me, and I though I would never hold my head up again. Had to go through a PRIVATE situation, PUBLICLY! All eyes were on me, How she gonna handle this one? CHURCH FOLK! Heart at the bottom of my stomach! Never knew that I had to go through SO MUCH! Didnt see it coming! Nothing in me made me aware that I was on the enemies HIT LIST! Afflicted in my body, NEVER SAW IT COMING! The enemy was weaving his web for me thought she not come out of THIS ONE! Oh No we got her, right here! Im not saying that its the end of my journey, but Im telling you EVERY round....it ESTABLISHED ME, MATURED ME, MADE ME MORE OF A LADY! OH but when my sisters got together and my friends go together, and we holding on to the arms of the alter and we locked arms and holding on to one another and the wind assaulted us and when bent one way, and we bent backwards and when the wind stopped, I WAS STILL STANDING!!!! GOD USED MY TRAILS TO MAKE ME STRONG!!! Did I cry? Did it hurt? Yes, every now and then, it STILL hurts and I couldnt cry because I had to be strong for the ones around me! People forsook me, messed over me! I AM who GOD says I am, I can do what GOD says I can do! I can be what GOD says I can be! IM STILL STANDING!!! - LATONYA THOMAS
