IMATS LA 2015: Afterglow The best thing about going to IMATS is a sense of luxuriating in the world of makeup. For all the seasoned professional working makeup artists it is a time to step back from the focus of working on set to appreciate the bigger vista of the amkeup industry. For newbie MUA it is an eye-opening view into the grand possibilites that await them as they move along in their careers. It also affords some moments to meet and reconnect with acquaintances, friends, and colleagues to forge and renew the bonds which tie us all together. Socail media has expanded the community of MUA to global dimensions as we friend fellow artists form near and far. But at IMATS we come together face-to-face and make these freindships real. Finally, to Michael Key, your vision for Makeup Artist Magazine was to showcase makeup artistry and broaden and bind community together.
