IMHO the physical demise of Puyol and Xavi are gaps that Spain and Barcelona are gonna find sifficult to replace neither of them can hack it at the very top level anymore. As the bbc commentators have touched on excessively the european teams are gionna find it hard to deal with the heat and humidity of places like Recife, Salvador and Forteleza due to there proxamity to the equator. Germany look like they are more than creepin on a come up in europe with there dynamic high paced counter attacking style but can they pull that off under aforementioned conditions. Brazil who where so written off and are admittedly a work in progress have to be ranked amongst the favourites for it on home soil though there defence is a bit jailbait to say the least.
