Production Operator Positions immediately available for 1st shift. Weekdays only. Paid holidays. The ideal candidate should be comfortable around heavy equipment. Must have 2-years minimum experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, production, or machine shop. Experience with Silicone and rubber processing equipment a plus. Essential Functions: •Safely operate various warehouse equipment (e.g. forklift, shrink wrap, drum picker, pallet jacks, vacuum, and other related equipment) •Safely operate various plant equipment (e.g. 2-roll mills, extruders, calendar, Conyers, bag sealer, shrink wrap, scales, forklift, hand/power tools and other related equipment). •Performing production activities such as setting up, operating and cleaning production equipment; preparing supplies and material for orders; and counting and stocking production supplies. •Perform shipping, receiving and warehouse activities such as loading and unloading material from carrier vehicles; transferring material from dock to/from warehouse and production •Preparing orders for shipment; communicating with carriers; and managing documents and records •Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
