Aquilino previously served as commander, Carrier Strike Group Two, Norfolk, Va. Rear Adm. George W. Ballance, assigned as commander, U.S. Naval Forces, Southern Command/commander, Fourth Fleet, Mayport, Fla. Ballance is currently serving as director, theater engagement, J-7, U.S. Southern Command, Doral, Fla. Rear Adm. Kevin D. Scott, assigned as vice director for joint force development (joint and coalition warfighting), Joint Staff, Suffolk, Va. Scott is currently serving as director, joint fleet operations, N3/N5, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Norfolk, Va. Rear Adm. Elaine C. Wagner, assigned as deputy chief, wounded, ill, and injured, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, Falls Church, Va. Wagner is currently serving as commander, Navy Medicine East/commander, Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Va. Rear Adm. (lower half) Rebecca J. McCormick-Boyle, selected for promotion to rear admiral, will be assigned as commandant, Medical Education Training Campus/Director of Medical Education and Training (M7), Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
