IMMINENT DEMISE OF RDP AS OFFICIAL OPPOSITION HERE! I say, comrades, if the current trends in the preliminary elections are anything to go by, then Swapo Party is very likely to garner more than 65 seats in National Assembly. HOWEVER, there will be a lower voter turnout caused mainly by the slowness in the voting process which was mainly caused by problems relating to EVMS. Hence, a large number of voters has been cutoff from voting. DTA of Namibia has emerged or is emerging as the TRUE opposition to Swapo Party in terms of issues, while voters see no difference between Swapo Party and RDP: provided that Swapo Party under Cde Hage has a better chance of undoing the Nujoma legacy than RDP under Cde HH. So, it is again own identity question for RDP which is lacking severely. So those Namibians who are very disappointed with Swapo Party will rather vote for DTA than RDP under HH! NEFF has so far proved to be a non starter by all means! Basically, NEFF suffers from the same own image, own identity problem like RDP under Cde HH! It appears that there is no change in the traditional support for NUDO and UDF! My analysis!
