IMO, ARE WE STAGNANT, MOVING BACKWARDS OR MOVING FORWARD? The question is, for how long will successors abandon projects already awarded and commenced with Imo State tax payers money and allocations? How can a good leader abandon projects that amounts to development and economic benefits to chase frivolity? If Owelle had commenced his administration with Ohakims uncompleted projects as listed below, Ohakim wouldnt have been begged by Progressive and Vision-Oriented Imolites to come back. No matter how bitter we all try to be without good reasons, we all know the truth and cannot run away from it. OHAKIM, HIS VISION AND WHERE HE (IS) HEADING. 1. 4 Flyovers across the State capital. 2. The deputy Governors lodge 3. Government house staff Accommodation. 4. The government house clinic. 5. Model of the gateway Along Okatankwo-Obilubi entrance to Owerri 6. Okigwe International Township Stadium 7. Twin towers to be located at the former Imo state house of assembly quarters. 8. The new Sam Mbakwe International cargo Airport. 9. The Imo freeway 150km boulevard linking 19LGAs. 10. Model of Imo Wonder Lake resort and conference centre. 11. Imo housing for all scheme. 12. Imo freeway and Toll plaza. 13. The new Okigwe city master plan 14. The new Orlu city master plan 15. The new Owerri city master plan 16. More 20, 000 graduate jobs. Etc. All these listed projects are with great economic value and human development elements. Work has already commenced in many of these institutions before Ohakims government was overthrown. In some other countries of the world and some states in Nigeria, successors starts with their Predecessors uncompleted Projects for economic growth and sustainability before enrolling into their manifesto. But in Imo state, the reverse is the case. Before anybody tries to abuse me, this article or Ohakim, i want the intelligent ones here to first list the better projects this administration substituted the above mentioned projects with, for the good of Imolites, then the gullible can follow.
