IMOSTI Internal Quality Audit IMOSTI has been delivering OPITO safety courses in the Oil and Gas Industry for five years. To ensure quality in the services that we provide, IMOSTI is conducting annual internal audit. Last June 17-19 2013, Safety Advisor and IQA Mr. James de Vera conducted Internal Quality Audit to IMOSTI’s main office in Manila and in the training site in Naic, Cavite. The audit aims to assess IMOSTI for compliance with the OPITO BOSIET and OEHTM standard. Management system, Physical resources, Staff resources, Training and Assessment were the scope of the audit. While observing the delivery of the said courses, the auditor gave importance to four items: Structural Integrity, Equipment Integrity, Planned Maintenance and Staff Resources. The auditor observed the instructor and assessor while delivering the program and some personnel were interviewed. For OEHTM, the auditor scheduled a follow up audit in a couple of months since standard has been revised by OPITO. Overall findings were discussed with the management afterward for conformity and areas for improvement.
