IMPLOSION! IMPLOSION!! The aftermath of the primaries of political parties is becoming very interesting because it is full of different episode of melodrama, orchestrated and stage manages congress and electioneering. I can’t still understand the kind of politics we play in our clime, that turn an honest and innocent soul to a desperado because of instrumentation designed purposely to serve the people. If politics is an instrumentation design to serve the people and meet the basic needs of the populace, how come the game changed in our clime, I want to understand why someone like Senator Chukwumerije will collapse after he lost the primaries, his failure to pick the party ticket will prevent him from returning to the senate. That simply suggest to me that so many people will die after the next general election. Was the Senate designed only for the likes of Chukwumerije? I don’t understand why twelve to fifteen aspirants are contesting for the same office of which they understand that only one winner will emerge, will suddenly be sounding the drum-beat of war after losing out to another aspirants? As I was pondering on this development, what comes to mind is implosion across all political parties. Lagos APC is at the verge of that implosion, because of the choice of Ambode by Bola Tinubu and some people who are key operators of the Lagos politics believes that, Ambode Akinwunmi is not a byproduct of consensus. So many news were flying around about this man, some said he is not a politician, I do not concur with that, because you don’t have to be a politician to navigate the jungles of politics. Some people said, he was sacked by Fashola for fraud alleged cases, I wanted to believe but I was confused this morning when I read from daily that, Fashola has been canvassing votes for Ambode. Some people said he is not a Lagosian, also I don’t want to believe, that state of your origin has anything to do with your capacity to serve your country or state where you reside and make money. But my candid advise to electorates is that whosoever you are presented with, investigate thoroughly such candidate, so as not to promote criminal-minded people, impostors and mediocre to rule over you. Ondo PDP is gradually plotting its own implosion as another party parallel Exco is about to be set up. APC members protested in Osun state, block the major road to vent their anger. Rivers state was not left behind, as the aspirants who believe that the protocols were jumped and rejected the imposition of former state of minister on education Nysome Wike. Their own drama was very sparking because they designed a coffin to show their displeasure and that suggest the official burial ceremony of PDP in Rivers state. In many states of the federation, we have parallel primaries held by PDP and may I ask, which side of the divide will produce the authentic candidate? The implosion! Implosion!! Implosion!!!
