IMPORTANCE of READING and RESEARCHING; JOE CREWS; WALTER VIETH When I became a Christian, the first thing I did was read Revelation. That was because Ronald Reagan was in office and everybody (especially my public school teachers from a couple years back) thought he was off his bonkers and going to blow up the world. I immediately was relieved by reading the book by seeing there is a sequence of events for it all and that God is evidently in control. Also I discovered it said: Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. Rev. 22:7 And then it also says: For I testify [before Jesus] unto every man that heareth the words of this prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of like, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Rev. 22:18, 19 So these SDAs like Eddie Hypolite, and that professor I mentioned etc. -- they need to be careful here with these doctrines that cover-over rather than let the book of Revelation say what it says it will do: REVEAL. The consequences are more than any person or group of men can devise. After I read Revelation, I started at Genesis, and then proceeded systematically reading through the whole Bible. A few months after I was finished with that, I became convicted of the Sabbath. Then I found the SDA church. Then I read the Great Controversy. Then I read Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing. Sometime around this point I read all the Amazing Facts tracts by Joe Crews. Those are real good -- theyre easy to read. Then I read, I think, Christ in His Sanctuary--a compilation of Ellen Whites writings addressing the work of Christ in the Sanctuary. Eventually I read all of Ellen Whites writings I could get ahold of. Here is a link to the Joe Crews tracks in html format (I wish they could be pdf) amazingfacts.org/media-library/media-archives/t/storacles/sq/3/o/3/th/c.aspx Here is the Joe Crews sermons: amazingfacts.org/media-library/media-archives/t/joe-crews-radio-sermons/sq/3/o/15/th/c.aspx Oh these are REAL good. What a trip down memory lane!!! AMEN (This is the way to become grounded real quick. ) . And then here is Walter Vieths hearthwarming testimony: youtube/watch?v=L-GVqLdyRxs He has a series called TOTAL ONSLAUGHT. Its aLL on YouTube. Its really good. From a very learned man. I discovered him from some faithful SDAs in the 1990s. May God Bless MC
