IMPORTANT ACTION! American trophy hunter Corey Knowlton and another American hunter have applied to the U.S.Fish and Wildlife Service for an IMPORT PERMIT to bring 2 black rhino trophies back from Namibia! Please ask the USFWS NOT TO ALLOW the dead rhino trophies into the U.S. This is urgent - there is only a 30-day comment period to the USFWS on these permits! This easy automated form by International Fund for Animal Welfare - IFAW lets you voice your objection to the USFWS by sending their letter or writing your own to more effective. Please take a moment to send your objection, and be sure to keep all letters polite. In January, Corey Knowlton was the winning bidder in an auction by the Dallas Safari Club for a permit to hunt and kill a critically endangered black rhino in Namibia. He paid $350,000 for the permit, but the money will ONLY be paid to Namibia if hes allowed to import the dead rhino trophy back into the U.S. Namibias endangered rhinos need to stay alive, not be auctioned off for $$$ to be trophy-hunted.
