IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: As many of you know Bill Havens, Saltydawg Custom Rods, and Bullard International have been in negotiations for the purchase of Bullard International. We have not made it a secret; we just needed to work out some details. The ink has been dry for months now, and all details have been cemented. I will be launching a new website later today. I will put up a post as soon as they both go live. This website will still say Bullard International and you will also see a mirror image of this website with Bill’s new company name (to be announced). We want to give all of Bullard’s customers a seamless transition. Bill has made it clear that he wants to continue what I began several years ago with taking on Bullard International after Gene’s death, and that is to continue to honor a man who was so important to this craft. This was important to me beyond any monetary compensation. You will see a big change in the website, and products, but you will continue to receive the best customer service in the industry—that will not change. Today we are simply launching the new website and mirror site for Bill. You will see all of our familiar products and the addition of a few new things. I have agreed to work as Bill’s web designer (water-toter) and add all of his products over the next months. Bill carries rod parts, blanks, etc., and is still building custom rods, so we will be adding a good number of things as time goes along. I have met so many wonderful people in this business, not only over the past few years, but many years ago when I began working for Gene at the young age of 17 years old—many who remained life long friends. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and friendship. I will still be very accessible, as I will be handling Bill’s forum, website and facebook.
