IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: PLEASE READ AND GET BACK TO ME. In July 1, 2005 I had a vision. I was still a student at the University. When this vision came to me. The vision was so strong and compelling. When people ask me what keeps going, I tell that it is that vision. The reason there is no solution in a Nation is because there are no speakers, no persuasive conveyers of life changing thoughts. The reason we have a weak leadership is because many of our leaders dont understand the mechanics and dynamics of NEGOTIATION AND PERSUASION. The most productive states in Nigeria are run by orators: Fashola(Lagos), Rochas(Imo), Akpabio (Akwa Ibom). Note that these States in Nigeria have experienced relative progress. The reason our children have gone awry is because they can no more QUOTE THEIR PARENTS. Values have been lost because PARENTS DONT KNOW HOW TO EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE THEM TO THEIR CHILDREN Part of the vision was to RAISE A GENERATION OF SPEAKERS & LEADERS (PERSUADERS AND NEGOTIATORS) WHO WILL GO OUT AND HELP BUILD THE NATION, NIGERIA In January 27,2007 at the Agric Lecture Hall at the University of Uyo, the first CONFERENCE OF ORATORS was organized. The second was in November 2, 2009. The third was exclusively for school teachers on the 22nd and 23rd of November, 2011. Today, we have done quite a number. We have done several in Uyo(February 20, 2014) And recently(April 12, 2014) we did it in PORT HARCOURT. In June 7, 2014 we will be doing it in Owerri, courtesy, John Okoye SonofMan an orator, MC and motivational speaker in his own right So here is the announcement. We want to take CONFERENCE OF ORATORS around Nigeria. And then Ghana. And then South Africa. And on and on. This is the goal: First, To get upcoming speakers learn about this powerful skill called PERSUASION and how they can use it to influence their country. We WILL start with Nigeria. Second, To expose them to developmental materials in the area of public speaking. Third, To get establish speakers come around and mentor the wannabes. And Forth, to create a platform for speakers to network and synergise. Eno-obong George will be taking CONFERENCE OF ORATORS to Enugu. Kufre is taking it to Yenogoa, Bayelsa. Where will you be willing to take CONFERENCE OF ORATORS to? We are looking for people who can mobilize speakers so that we can come to your city. Are you in Lagos? Ibadan? Jos? Abuja? Borno? Minna?
