PARSIFAL VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT DEAR ENTREPRENEUR In 1996, while opening our restaurant, our aim was to gain ground in the national market in order to make up a huge deficiency with our menu, which includes only vegetables, completely meat free and allow vegetarians, vegans as well as people who want to have a healthy diet to gain a healthy dietary habit. To this end, we realized that we needed to build a solid structure not only with our management policy but also ensuring complete customer satisfaction by creating a special menu. Thus, we formed a strategic plan from the very first day. As a result of our great effort, only four years later, in 2000, we received our first international award from International Leader’s Club (ILC) as the best vegetarian restaurant in Turkey. In the following years, we were chosen among Turkey’s best 10 places to go and awarded as the best vegetarian restaurant in Turkey in 2011. Moreover, in 2013, we were honoured with a special award for our brand receiving the Certificate of Excellence from TripAvisor, which is a global organization with international importance. Of course, we have also appeared in many national and international magazines, websites, newspapers and on TV shows and the news. Parsifal, having appeared in many cook magazines, is regarded as an expert on vegetarianism and veganism in printed, visual and social media. We are aware of the fact that we have earned all these by not focusing on the sales only, but setting customer satisfaction, taste, production quality and hygene as our primary goal. Our brand, which doesn’t prefer to resort to a rapid branching process in order not to serve below standards with a focus on sales only, is constantly securing its position in the market with its successful service and quality. A globally adopted dietary habit, vegetarianism is also getting more popular in Turkey. With the prevailing trend of healthy life, the interest in vegetarianism, which is healthier compared to other fast food products, is increasing each day. The most evident sign of this is that the number of restaurants adding vegetarian dishes in their menus is increasing. Just like in international fast food restaurant chains.. At this point, although we have been turning down frenchise offers for a long time now, we decided to franchise due to not only our wish to be the first and only pioneer frenchise business considering the increasing interest in vegetarianism in our country but also our ultimate goal to reach our customers in the locations determined by our internationally well-known brand. As a strong brand giving importance to Turkish taste, healthy diet, hygene and considering meeting the need for vegetarian restaurants, we are determined to gain ground in this market. With regard to frenchising system, it is probably the most risk free investment for an entrepreneur to be in the franchising chain of a brand which has already proved itself. While starting a new business can prove to be successful at times, it can also end up with frustration. Hence, it can be said that operating as an entrepreneur under the roof of an already well-known brand with a potential of growing rapidly is one of the most risk free business models. That’s the reason why the number of franchise chains is increasing each year, and new brands are included in these. Our franchising work, which will start in 2014, will both allow investors to start their own businesses and will be a profitable investment with the least financial risk possible. We are aiming at spreading around Turkey by franchising. Our target for 2014 is to open two frenchise restaurants. We will take our first steps in İstabul at locations we will determine. We will also take into account the offers from Ankara, İzmir, Bursa and Fethiye. However, we want to evaluate each offer attentively and be in the right place with the right entrepreneurs.
