IMPORTANT BARK AT THE BEND NOTICE - EVENT POSTPONED - NEW DATE JULY 20, 2013 Due to the floods and closure of parks we are unable to hold the event this weekend. This is an important funding source for the RDSPCA and so we cannot afford not to hold the event. We understand that some participants may have other plans and we apologise if this new date doesnt work for you. If you cannot attend on July 20th you can drop off your pledges to the SPCA before July 20th and receive your tshirt and pet gift. We would suggest that you commit to a self guided walk at your convenience to show your supporters you have walked for the SPCA. We will give you the route....dont worry 20kms wont take you long ;) kidding!!! We will enter you into the pledge raising/registration draws even if you cannot attend on the event date. Whist this is very disappointing for us we hope that the new date will give you all extra time to raise pledges and support the animals here at the shelter. The weather should be excellent in July (heres hoping!). In the mean time we hope that all our friends in central and southern alberta stay safe through the crisis. We are here to help house animals and support other Alberta shelters where needed. If we need volunteers to support this we will let you know on this page.
