IMPORTANT: Effective Dec 17th 2014, I will NO LONGER have media partners on #HNNAfrica or any of my social media assets except sponsorships for events. I will continue to work alone. If I do not work for a media outlet on their payroll, I will NOT be affiliated with anyone. In the past week, I have had 3 incidents of people trying to taint my brand. These people were family members of people that I have worked with for years and I will NOT tolerate insults and my hard work being dragged down. One of them is Isaac Dachens brother Moses in the states who has constantly disrespected and harassed me in my inbox with some sort of obsession that Im paid by PDP to campaign against Buhari. Unfortunately such illiterates fail to realize that when u are political and opinion reporter among many beats, you can write your own opinions. Little did he know that I am a VIP blogger for Pulse Nigeria where his brother is my Editor. I have therefore separated from Pulse and will no longer write for them. That is my choice. The other case involves the #MikePimentelMurder which I have made appeals and awareness for the last 3 years on social media. I deleted the page which upset a lot of people but many did not realize that Late Mikes girlfriend who has been silent on that page 3 years began insulting me claiming I was damaging the case by using the words dead or died and using profanity on me asking me to delete posts etc. Several police departments online contacted me as to her language and then she enlisted her friends to join in the insults. She is also obsessed with talking to trolls. I built 13 Crimestoppers pages in Canada and 8 cases have been solved with some even when I left. I work too hard volunteering and being the voice of so many on social media and thus I decided to separate myself from any such ventures. Mikes murder I will continue to tweet. I generally focus ONLY on gun murders but this case got me very passionate because there are people who know exactly who the killers are. When Drake asked my rapper in 2007 (Wiz Khalifa) to open for him on a 2010 tour, I said no, something anyone will jump to. I mentored them both as well but what I wanted was Wiz to build his own brand and Wiz told the media that he wanted to get his own music out by himself and not open for anyone. Today Wiz has his own brand with millions of fans. I was pleased to have worked with him at Warner Brothers Music. Thank U Cheryl L Bullock and all the others who put energy in sharing my work. KOO
