IMPORTANT INFO We have a GREAT weekend lined up for the 2014 NY-Boston RuedTrip. First, let’s get some of the logistics sorted out: 1) TRANSPORTATION: We’ll use a combination of car and bus to make sure everyone gets where they need to be. **IF YOU WILL BE DRIVING TO/FROM BOSTON AND HAVE ANY EMPTY SPOTS IN YOUR CAR, PLEASE POST ON THIS PAGE TO COORDINATE WITH ANYONE WHO NEEDS A RIDE. If you don’t have a car and don’t have a spot in someone else’s, not to worry! There are very good bus options for getting up to Boston and back. Two of the best are Bolt Bus and Megabus, each option is about $20-30 each way: • For Bolt Bus (https://boltbus/), I’d recommend departing NY on June 21 at 12:30pm, arriving Boston at 4:45pm. • For Mega Bus (https://us.megabus/), I’d recommend departing NY on June 21 at 12:10pm, arriving Boston at 4:30pm. If you’re taking the bus on the way back too, I’d recommend booking an option that departs Boston around 4:00pm. We shouldn’t have to do too much driving once we’re up in Boston, but for the couple of trips we’ll be making, taxis and Uber are easily available in addition to public transport. 2) HOTEL: Our “official” hotel will be the perfectly-good-but-don’t-expect-butler-service Constitution Inn at 150 3rd Ave, Boston, MA 02129. On hotels, a room with two double beds (i.e. fitting four people) was available for the night of the 21st for $164.
