IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Divisional Commissioner Jammu has informed that a relief cell for Kashmir division has been set up in the office of General Manager JKTDC with its Nodal Officer. Besides, information can also be sought through SMS on phone numbers VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE All the parents whose wards are in NIT Srinagar are informed that all the students are safe. Boys have been shifted to Kashmir University yesterday , all the arrangements have been made over there. Girls are in their hostels , warden is looking after them. There are reports that if the water level rises they would be airlifted. But at present situation is under control. There is no network coverage in the region so please don’t panic. So at present all students are safe.
