IMPORTANT MEMO FROM CFC MANILA: Hail Mary! Queen of Families: CFC’s Continuing Journey with Mary Consecration to Mary of the Global Family of Couples for Christ December 7, 2014 On December 7, 2014, the global community of CFC will be consecrated to our Blessed Mother. It shall be simultaneous in all CFC areas in the Philippines and Foreign Countries, as follows: METRO MANILA Date: Dec 7, 2014 ( Sunday) Time: 1-5PM Venue: Ultra Entrance: Free Invitees: MM Unit heads and Up; CFC and Family Ministries (Sectors may be given allocations) PROVINCES: Dec 7, 2014 Time: Local Area Decision Venue: Local Area Invitees: CFC and Family Ministries FOREIGN COUNTRIES: DEC 7, 2014 Time: Local Area decision Venue: Local Area Invitees: CFC and Family Ministries Preparatory Activities: 1. October 5, Sunday: Metro Manila MCG, shall have a recollection to introduce and understand the 33 days to Morning Glory A Do-It-Yourself Retreat in preparation for the CFC Marian Consecration. This will be video-recorded and will be sent to all the CFC in the Philippines and foreign areas to be presented and shown in all MC assemblies worldwide within the month of October, 2014. 2. November 5, Wednesday: All members of CFC and the Family Ministries will begin the 33 days to Morning Glory in preparation for the global CFC consecration on December 7 and personal consecration of every individual member on December 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. This will be led by the International Council members at the Global Mission Center in Metro Manila. In the same manner, the National Directors and Area Governance Teams are entrusted to lead the consecration in their respective Areas/ Countries. NOTE: The “33 days of Morning Glory” book is available online and through the Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception. Ablaze is currently negotiating for copies to be available for Metro Manila members. In the meantime, we are sharing the PDF copy of the book, which you can print or read on your tablets/ computers. However, everyone is still encouraged to buy the book to refresh your personal consecration. 3. December 7, Sunday: The global CFC Community Consecration to Mary during the special MC Prayer Assembly with the theme “Hail Mary! Queen of Families: CFC’s Continuing Journey with Mary. December 7 MCG Event Format: Elements: 1. Rosary 2. Festive procession 3. MCG Prayer Assembly -Opening exhortation and worship - Pre-identified sharers on their experience with Mary relating to the themes of the last 3 years. - Reflection questions in between sharings - Awit para kay Maria ( Marian Songs ) after sharing and reflections ( preferably original Marian compositions by CFC and Family Ministries - Synthesis of sharing and closing prayer 4. Holy Mass - Homily about Consecration to Mary - Prayers of the faithful - Consecration of CFC to Mary 5. Closing Exhortation by CFC Chairman, envisioning the future journey with Mary. 6. Praisefest The suggested program, talks, script, music and other relevant materials for the Dec 7 MCG will be sent to all the local and foreign areas by November 5. All CFC areas are expected to use the format as a guide for their own MCG activity.
