IMPORTANT MESSAGE, Dear Africa, We are pleased to see how well you received our bid and tournament proposal and we are a few days away from what we believe will not only be the biggest Tournament on African soil by Africans for Africa. These are the things we would like for you to take note of, 1. We are passionate about the growth of debate in our land, and this is what we did about it We sourced the most experienced and dedicated CAP that we could get a hold of, Dessi and Syed are also Co- CA for the wudc South Africa 2017 bid and are respected all over the world Kira has been collecting awards at every tournament that she has judged and is brilliant at being a judge. We sort our DCAs using a regional system to ensure that skills learnt from our worlds best stay and spread all over Africa, We trust Gordon, Samuel and David will do us proud. We introduced shadow CAP too also improve their skills at this PAUDC. This is also regionally representative and we are proud to have Michelle, Ngcwele and Theresa on this team. After having trying to figure out how to bubble up and down, we invited world class tab masters Patrick and Manuel best remembered from Berlin worlds and a vast number of other tournaments. They have conducted a tab academy so we can find the next generation Paidas. 2. We are diverse For the first time at a PANS or Nationals a social will be cancelled to make way for a forums night. The theme would be to support a cause that speaks to you the most, we shall have the following a) Womens forum b) Queer forum c) Leadership forum d) Bids forum 3.We believe in our communities The University students are gaining mirrors, renovations and toilets from your presence.
