IMPORTANT NEWS FLASH! - The Motorcycle Safety Foundation will no longer be providing the curriculum for the California Motorcycle Safety Program nor will they be a part of the administration team. The CHP has chosen the Lee Parks Total Control Training courses to replace the courses that the Motorcycle Safety Foundation has provided for the past several years. As a result, as of the first of January, classes may be delayed due to the need to retrain all California coaches, and administrators to the new curriculum. If you wish to get your motorcycle license by taking the Basic Rider Course, it is suggested you do so before the end of the year to avoid any delays which may occur. Please note that if you are under the age of 21, this course is mandatory before a motorcycle learners permit is issued or a license provided. Despite the scale of this transition, Lee Parks assures us that although there will be many challenges to overcome, his team has the team and technology to make this as efficient and effective as possible.
