IMPORTANT NON-CAMPAIGN MESSAGE: A supporter shared this information with us today and we wanted to share it with the community. As some of you may have heard, a Jackson County family experienced a great loss today -- a house fire that claimed the lives of five children in Edna, Texas, including a 16-year old. Classmates of that 16-year old are attempting to collect donations to help the family. If you would like to help the family, contributions can be made to the Ortiz/Hernandez Fund at Prosperity Bank or they can be delivered to the Edna ISD central office. During this time of Thanksgiving we should be especially thankful for our family and friends and those who are in need.
