IMPORTANT NOTE - PLEASE READ ALL WHO SELL TO TAYLOR`S & Share this to all other friends. Thank you, Billy. Previous Note and Information - Taylor`s will buy the unlimited roots until August the first week. That is from and between Friday August 1st until Friday August the 8th. I sell all of the off roots in the 2nd week of August and then prepare for Wild ginseng season. Please bring or ship your roots to comply with this date. Billy. ------------------- I had added this note for our diggers in the surrounding and outer states to have a guide on the best sell time to me because at this date and time the prices for all off roots are at there peak just like ginseng peaks around Thanks Giving. It is also the best time for me to resell the thousands of pounds of roots that I buy & stock from everyone all season, but I have accidentally caused many of you to miss understand me - I have received letters, texts, and phone calls asking me would I still buy roots that had not yet got dry by that time. Of course I will and let me better explain myself. I will certainly still buy your roots and herbs from all over the US. after August the 1st week. What I mint was that I would appreciate you all sending in and bringing by every thing that is dry at that time especially the items that I have marked as unlimited for us all this season because for me there is a actual limit of pounds each year, even when I tell you all that I will buy unlimited from you, for example if my buyer said Billy I need 5,000 pd of dry Goldenseal for this year I would want 5,000 pd in by this date to meet my buyers need for the season to keep him what he needs, but after the sell I will always keep buying because I will have another big order to fill next season and I have other buyers that get some root from me from time to time once the big order is filed. So I would buy more after the sell out to begin the restocking procedure. So after that 1st week of August if you still have roots dying or that are not even dug that will be dry. You do not have to hold them over unto the next season. I will buy them for sure when you are done digging and all of your roots are dry just let me know. I felt like for the first time in a long time that I did not explain to our diggers what I mint in the right way and I apologize because after reading the note I realized this is what I would have thought as well when I read the note - my bad guys - I am a digger and have been all of my life. Many times I felt mislead or to be honest mistreated by dealers/buyers. I would never mean to miss lead you all and I will never make any one feel that way purposely. I will always tell you the truth. My Grandfather left a saying with me when I was just a boy really and it has stuck with me all of my life and I have taught it to my sons and that is this. Never cut off the hand that feeds you. The good Lord said something as well that I have taught Bill & Caleb & the whole Family. Do unto others as you would have them to do unto you. I truly believe that all of our diggers, friends, & family members are with out a doubt the blood in the veins of Taylors Roots and Herbs and that with out you we would be nothing at all. The hard work and effort that you all put forth every season in the Mountains is what causes life to flow into and out of this business. I am not a man that thinks low or looks down on the people who dig and brings roots to us or that feels he is above them because he is the dealer God forbid such foolish thoughts in a man`s heart. We are not above no one. I want to share one last thing with you all tonight. I am a man that loves the Mountains and loves to dig just like you do. I will always dig wild ginseng to buy Christmas for my Children and Grandchildren. I have been doing that since my children where all still at home. Every Christmas I would watch my wife and kids smile and enjoy there gifts that I would give them from the gift that is giving to me, wild ginseng. Ginseng was something that pulled me through some years when my roofing work was slow and with out it the kids would not have got much for Christmas that year. Now with my Grandchildren I will be honest I could see them smile if I did not dig it, but I would not have that joy in my heart of seeing them happy from what the earth and the Lord provided for them with just a little bit of hard work and dedication. I like to let them see the bee stings, the briar cuts, through the season and tell them of the bears or cats etc. that I saw even the snakes. So that they know that Pawly worked for them and that nothing in this life is with out effort. There is no greater reward. Thank you all for your support and friendship. We are in this together. Billy.
