IMPORTANT NOTE: I have learned ALWAYS call the Vet if you have a situation you are unsure of with your pet. I called about Eden re-eating the sofa. Last time it was the microfiber and some seat foam, and the Vet induced vomiting, after an x-ray of her stomach. This time duct tape covered the cushion, which I believe she also ate. Vomiting WAS NOT recommended because the duct tape could cause aspiration. Vet recommendation: do not let her eat or drink last night, give her 1/2 of her breakfast, if she vomits continually WE ARE IN TROUBLE. Eden pooped this morning, ate 1/2 of her breakfast, went back out to poop, no vomiting yet. We are not out of the woods, but my anxiety level has reduced. We are beating ourselves up for thinking she would never do this again, but crying in her playpen will mean she will be alive when we get home.
