IMPORTANT NOTE: It has kindly and understandably come to the attention of TEAM STAN that some of you pose a concern with making a donation not knowing who we are. I, Karen Cormie, would like to address this to you all at this time. TEAM STAN is made up of six members and three of us, me, Donna Slack and Stan’s daughter Christine ‘Rummel’ Sansone are Administrators/Editors on this site. The other members consist of David Shabat, Valerie J. Hamilton, Ingrid Johnson and Conni Mitrione Tucker. Mostly, we met through a post that David Shabat posted on Father’s Day saying how grateful he was to his former vice principal Stanley Rummel for attending his grandmother Shirley (Aronson) Kanofsky’s funeral that week on the FB page called ‘You know you are from Glens Falls…..’ The idea got thrown around that it would be nice if all of our stories were compiled in to one book that Stanley Rummel could have for himself. It did not take me long to get the ball rolling on this idea, and soon enough we had created TEAM STAN. I WANT TO TAKE THIS TIME TO ASSURE YOU that the PayPal and TD Bank accounts in care of ‘Mr. Rummel VP and more’ are solely in my name only and I personally give you my word that ‘ALL’ funds received through the DONATE NOW link will go toward the production, presentation and the Stanley E. Rummel Scholarship Foundation. Plus, all donations made are setup to go into nonprofit business accounts through PayPal and TD Bank and are monitored for your safety and mine as well. Our intentions are to honor a great man that we all have been deeply affected by, and to share all of our stories and photos with him; as well as and one another. We are working on an event where the public will be able to gather to see his family present him ‘OUR’ book. TEAM STAN is dedicated in making sure that aside from production and presentation costs, the Stanley E, Rummel Scholarship Foundation receives every last penny donated. With the purchase of your own books (available to order in October) you will have made a contribution to his scholarship foundation directly through your order with mysocialbook. My Social Book has also graciously offered to sell the book to you at a discounted price to be posted at a later date. We hope this eases any of your minds about making a donation and we will keep you updated when donations are received by posting them on this FB page.
