IMPORTANT: Our Animal Control staff have just been notified that there is a white ute driving around the district with Animal Control written on the side in blue, claiming to be SWDC Animal Control and uplifting dogs from their homes. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT ANIMAL CONTROL STAFF. ((The photos below are of the official SWDC Animal Control vehicles)) Our staff drive white Ford utes with dark blue and highlighter yellow stripes down the side. Animal Control is written in highlighter yellow on the blue stripe on all sides of the truck and their contact number is written on the left and right front doors. Our Animal Control staff are always wearing their black and highlighter green uniform tops, with name badges, and they carry their warrants with them at all times. If you are concerned about someone impersonating an animal control officer make sure to check all of these things.
