IMPORTANT THINGS Do you know what the word volunteer means? A volunteer is a person who is engaged in social activities by their own wish and receives no remuneration for that. Do you want to know the meaning of this word in Ukraine? Volunteers are patriots who wake up and feel heartache about the events happening around us, but they still do not stop smiling. And they go to bed with joy because they have succeeded in helping those who had some needs. They have brought clothes, food or equipment. And they have also seen that their help is of great value and everyone appreciates it. Isn’t it a reason for true happiness? Volunteers are people who have long ceased to think of themselves and take care of their own health. They simply have no time for that! They are aware that there is no one but volunteers, who can think of ATO fighters, who can take care of those guys who are spending days and nights on the state border checkpoints, who can defend refugee immigrants from Donbas. All the people got used to administrative dereliction. Volunteers are living the lives of others. They have numerous conflicts at home. They feel lack of understanding among their friends and relatives. Some consider volunteers to be strange indeed. Some don’t even try to understand them. “Isn’t it a stupidity to provide help to unknown people? Isn’t it suspicious when one is giving the last gryvnia to an indigent while he has no idea what to eat tomorrow?” – this is how some think. We don’t trust in people’s sincerity. But we should! Thank you, all of those who support us all the time! Both material and mental support are important to Ukrainian militants who feel strong lack of belief these days.
